What Blue Chilli Group does.
We design and deliver temporary event environments — stretch tents and framed marquees, bar builds, interiors, lighting and the production that ties them together. Every build is planned around how the event will actually run on the day.

From an empty field to a finished venue
Our work spans open-sided stretch tents on festival sites, fully dressed marquee interiors for weddings and private parties, and large themed builds for corporate and gala events. Each one starts with the site, the guest numbers and the running order, and works back from there.
Structures are specified for the ground and the weather they will meet, then finished to the standard the event calls for — flooring, linings, lighting, heating, furniture and bar fit-out.

A festival site build, end to end
The Brief
Cover a large open site with structures that could take bar service, hospitality and shelter for several thousand people across a multi-day event, on ground that had to stay usable in any weather.
The layout had to keep sightlines open across the site rather than walling it off, and the whole build had to go up and come down inside the event's own load-in and load-out windows.
Our Solution
Open-sided stretch tents pitched across the site, sized and anchored for the ground conditions, giving covered space without closing the site down visually.
Under them, full bar builds with back-bar storage, service runs and lighting, plus the power distribution and crew access routes that let the bar and production teams work at pace once doors opened.
The Outcome
Structures that read as part of the site rather than something dropped onto it, holding up through the run and coming down on schedule.
The same approach scales down to a garden marquee and up to a themed gala interior — the planning is the same, only the finish changes.

A large part of what we build is the part guests never see. Bar backs and cellars, service runs, crew access, storage and power distribution are laid out alongside the front-of-house design rather than squeezed in afterwards.
That planning is what lets bar teams, caterers and production crews work at pace on a busy site without the event feeling any of it.

What kind of structures do you supply?
Open-sided stretch tents, framed marquees and clear-span structures, from small garden builds up to large multi-structure festival sites.
How long does a build take?
It depends on the size of the structure and the access to the site. Small builds go up in a day; large multi-structure sites are planned across several.
Can you build on uneven or hard ground?
Yes. Structures are specified for the ground they are going on, including sand, slopes and hard standing, with the appropriate anchoring and flooring.
Do you provide power, lighting and heating?
Yes. Power distribution, lighting and heating are planned alongside the structure rather than added afterwards, so the cabling and access routes are designed in.
Do you supply bars and back of house?
Yes. Bar builds, back-bar storage, service corridors, crew access and utility zones are part of what we design and install.
How far in advance should we get in touch?
As early as you can. Give us the site, the dates and rough guest numbers and we can tell you what is workable.
